It is more important to understand the imbalances in your pet’s basic systems and restore balance rather than name the disease and match the pill to the ill.

Our Specialized Holistic Veterinary Services

Holistic Veterinary Consultation

Dr. Miller’s Holistic consultation goes beyond focusing solely on the outward physical appearance of your pet. The overall condition of her patient includes addressing nutritional, emotional, environmental, hormonal, and seasonal factors. Please allow at least 2 hours for the consultation.

Zyto Biofeedback

The innovative Zyto biofeedback technology takes a survey of your pet.  The program is designed to allow early detection of blockages in your pet’s energy flow through their body.  These blockages put stress on the body’s ability to function and remain in a state of wellness.  By the time your pet is symptomatic and conventional lab work is able to indicate there is a disease process, an organ can be in 75% failure.  This modality is instrumental in providing a complete picture of your pet’s health.

Live Blood Analysis

Live Blood Analysis examines living blood under an extremely powerful microscope connected to a high-definition camera. The condition and quality of your pet’s blood cells have a direct impact on their present and future health. Stress and disease appear in the blood long before they manifest in the body. Live blood analysis shows exactly how your pet reacts to nutrition, chemical exposure, and quality of water and provides a clear picture of their health at a cellular level.

Canine Massage Lymphatic Drainage

Lymphatic drainage is a therapeutic massage treatment. The goal of lymphatic drainage in the massage is to increase the flow of lymph and reduce toxins in the body.

The lymph system is part of the dog’s body’s immune system and helps fight infection. Lymph itself is a clear, slightly yellow fluid. It transports nutrients and oxygen to cells, collecting toxins on the way and flushing them out through the lymph nodes. There are around twice as many lymph vessels as blood vessels in the dog’s body. However, unlike blood, which is pumped around by your heart, the lymph system has no pump. The pressure from their blood vessels and movement from their muscles push the lymphatic fluid around.

Lymphatic drainage massage has beneficial effects on dogs’ general health. Improving the flow and drainage of lymph around the body is good for dogs in lots of ways.

Canine massage is a branch of massage therapy that promotes health in dogs. Specifically, canine massage therapy is a form of alternative therapy the benefits of which may include relaxation, increased oxygenation, relief from pain, improved joint flexibility, as well as miscellaneous benefits to the immune system.

Canine massage is provided by Houston Dog Mechanic.

Raindrop Technique

The Raindrop Technique is a unique practice based on methods used for centuries to rejuvenate the body and mind. The difference in a pet after receiving a Raindrop is rewarding to witness. Animals willingly give up their emotional baggage during a Raindrop. It can mean the difference in a rescued animal’s ability to be adopted. Please allow at least an hour.

Yes, you can do Raindrops on a cat. This is Punky Brewster and the first Raindrop was a bit challenging, we made it halfway through and he left the party. Second Raindrop we made it three-quarters of the way before he left. But for the third Raindrop, he laid on the counter and was all about getting the whole Raindrop! You know how cats are, everything is on their terms.

Let’s not forget horses. They respond very well to the Raindrop technique.
Horses have emotional baggage along with exposure to numerous toxins in their environment. Sometimes a step ladder is needed to complete the technique.

In Europe, Healy is a medical device used for the treatment of chronic pain, fibromyalgia, skeletal pain, and migraine, as well as for the supportive treatment of mental illnesses such as depression, anxiety, and related sleep disorders.

In the United States, Healy is a microcurrent medical device cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration only for local relief of acute, chronic, and arthritis pain and muscle soreness due to overexertion. Healy also has non-medical applications that use Individualized Microcurrent Frequencies (IMF) to harmonize your Bioenergetic Field.

Reiki is a gentle, effective energy healing method, which treats the whole individual, not just the symptoms of a disease. With Reiki, the practitioner acts as a conduit for the healing energy of the universe to flow through their hands to the animal, causing a shift toward health at the deepest levels. It restores balance and harmony to an animal’s entire being: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.

The name “Reiki” (pronounced Ray-key) comes from the Japanese words “rei” meaning spirit and “ki” meaning energy, translated as “universal life energy.” The beauty of Reiki as a healing system is that it is non-invasive and stress-free, yet highly effective. Reiki healing was available only to humans, but now, increasing numbers of Reiki practitioners are establishing practices devoted exclusively to animals.

Food Therapy

The Power of Food

There is truth to the old saying: “food is the medicine you take every day.” The healing power of food is a central belief Chinese Medicine, as food therapy is one of the four major branches of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM). Like other TCVM modalities, the ultimate goal of food therapy is to restore and maintain balance in the body. Diet plans are tailored to individual patients based on their unique tendencies, age, species, geographical location, personality, and current disharmony or disease process. Food ingredients are chosen based on their energetic properties, which include both thermal energetic property and taste. Although the effects are slower compared to other modalities, there are virtually no side effects when food ingredients are chosen correctly. Food therapy is also very popular amongst owners as it empowers them to take part in their animal’s TCVM therapy and can be used safely throughout the pet’s lifetime.
